The Department of Classical Studies mourns the loss of our colleague, Emeritus Professor Dr. Ed Menes. We held a celebration of his life at Loyola-Chicago on May 4, 2019.

    Come to the Classics Library on February 5th at 4pm to read a short section of the Akkadian epic of Gilgamesh, and see what it might have been like to inscribe cuneiform tablets! No experience necessary or required. Treats and drinks will be served!
